We manufacture different drugs for improve livestock’s health. Our product is specially tailored to suit the environmental sustainability of livestock’s within Nigeria. Our animal health products undergo rigorous quality control to be certified fit for use on farm animals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

1. Determine the required materials and generate purchase order
2. Ensuring materials meet specification, and quality standards and are cost-efficient
3. Ensuring a consistent and adequate supply of raw materials, necessary for the production
4. Ensure zero raw material wastage during the transfer
5. Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals and timelines
6. Tracking production volumes and monitoring customer demand, patterns and purchasing trends
7. Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and product
8. Monitor and manage the performance of production staff, ensuring that they follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with safety and regulatory guidelines.
9. Troubleshoot any production issues that may arise and resolve them promptly to minimize production downtime.
10. Maintain accurate production records and generate reports on production performance, including productivity, efficiency, and quality control.
11. Ensure that all equipment and machinery are well-maintained and operate efficiently, and coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule repairs and maintenance activities.
12. Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Research and Development to ensure that the production process meets the required quality and safety standards.
13. Ensure that the production process complies with regulatory requirements, such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
14. Continuously evaluate and optimize the production process to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality.
15. Train and mentor production staff to improve their skills and knowledge of the production process.
16. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and ensure that all employees follow safety guidelines.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a B.Agric, B.Pharm or M.Eng qualification with 2 – 3 years work experience.
