Victoria Island Branch under the leadership of Engr John Audu is set for the third edition of Engr. Babagana Mohammed Distinguished Public Lecture.

The theme of this year edition is: The Role of Technology Incubation Hubs in Bridging the Research-Industry Nexus in Nigeria. Engr. Dr. Mohammed Jibrin, Director General, National Board for Technology Incubation will present the keynote address.

The Annual event which was instituted in 2019 by the leadership of the Branch as part of efforts to provide platform for engineers to address critical national issues.

Engr Babagana was a founding member of NSE Victoria Island Branch and later its Chairman. He served for three (3) consecutive times as Vice President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers before being elected as Deputy President and subsequently, the President.
