Stakeholders in the built environment will gather in Lagos for the fourth edition of international construction, building materials technologies expo organised by Elan expo group.
The exhibition, which holds from June 27-29 at Landmark Centre, will bring together members of the Nigeria Institution of Civil Engineers (NICE), Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Association of Professional Women Engineers (APWEN), Nigeria Institution of Surveyors (NIS), Nigeria Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NiMeChe), American Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Radiation Engineers (ASHRAE Nigeria Chapter), Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON), among others.
International exhibitors are also expected to arrive from Turkey, Australia, Poland, China, Mexico, Spain, Egypt, Germany, India and Singapore. Chief Executive Officer of Build Expo Jude Chime said the Build Expo and Summit has a strong capability of creating technological advancement in the Nigerian built sector, with the strong support of professional bodies in the construction environment.
He added that former chairman of Nigerian Institute of Architecture, Ladipo Lewis, the Chief executive officer of CmDesign Atelier Tosin Oshinowo and Managing Director of SAOTA Greg Truen will speak on “Embracing a collaborative approach through technology to adopt digital disruption.”
According to him, the keynote speech on the theme of the summit “The Role of technology in value engineering in the construction industry”, will be given by Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat.
