From humble beginnings as a fresh Chemical Engineering graduate (Class of 2010) of the esteemed Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, Olufemi Theophilus has evolved into a global power-house in the manufacturing and supply chain industry!

Across four continents, and with a meritorious 12-year career trajectory, Olufemi is a transformational leader, in manufacturing and supply chain management, who remains dedicated to optimizing production processes, driving innovation, and fostering lean manufacturing practices.

Building on his passion for organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency, he earned a Master’s of Business Administration [MBA] in Operations Management from the same Obafemi Awolowo University, in 2017. His dissertation explored Inventory’s Management Impact on Organizational Performance. His current pursuit is a MPhil/Ph.D from Babcock University, Nigeria. His research focus is on lean manufacturing practices in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) companies.

As such, Olufemi’s expertise is a unique blend of practical insights and profound theoretical knowledge.

He began his career with a Fortune 500 company, where he has steadily risen through the ranks from overseeing operational tasks to managing complex supply chain networks within Nigeria, the United States and across diverse regions and three other continents.

Now, as a Senior Supply Chain Expert, Olufemi works with a team to establish a new supply chain in the fabric care space with a view to redefine industry standards, pushing the boundaries of manufacturing across the world.

Olufemi’s resourcefulness and relentless drive for excellence has not gone unnoticed. He is a multi-award winner who has continuously received several Senior Vice President Awards for Excellence in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management.

He is not only an innovative leader in the corporate world of manufacturing and supply chain management, Olufemi’s dedication to community service is exemplary. As a counsellor and mentor to teens and youths, his passion is to empower them through various programs, including STEM programs.

His active contribution to education and career mentorship of young people, in multiple organizations, underscore his desire to build a next generation of skilled professionals in Nigeria.
