Job Title: Director, Works and Services

Location: Abia

Job Description

The Director, Works and Services is the head of the Works and Services Department of the University, responsible to the Vice- Chancellor for the development and maintenance of the infrastructure, equipment and sundry utilities of the University.

Qualifications
The Candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A University Degree in Engineering from a recognized University, with not less than 18 years cognate experience
2. Must be a registered member of the following professional bodies:
3. Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN)
4. The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
5. A higher degree in Engineering and a Fellowship of any of the above listed professional bodies, will be an advantage
6. The candidate should be ICT literate and not more-than fifty-five (55) years,

Experience:

Candidate must have at least ten (10) years post-graduation experience

Salary / Conditions of Service

The salary and conditions of service are as obtainable in the Nigerian University System
Tenure:

The appointment will be for one term of five (5) years only.
