Yabatech, FUOYE team up to offer Top-up External Degree Programmes

Two Prestigious Federal Institutions in Nigeria, Yaba College of Technology, Lagos (YABATECH) and Federal University Oye-Ekiti, (FUOYE) has teamed up to offer External Degree Affiliation program and Top-up for intending candidates. The programme will commence running this year with application process already out.

The programme is a well-designed Programme for the Higher National Diploma (HND) Degree holders of the Polytechnics and Graduates of Nigerian Universities with Third Class or Pass Division, in order to actualize their dream with respect to education.

External Degree Affiliation program with Bachelor Degree in the Faculty of Agriculture (B. Agric), Faculty of Engineering (B. Eng,) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in the Faculty of Science, Management Sciences and Faculty of Social Sciences, These programmes are designed to equip prospective students with knowledge and skills; provide an understanding of the major theories, theme and practices of related studies; equip students with a practical understanding of the contemporary issues in their respective studies globally

To qualify for the programme, candidates must satisfy the following admission requirements:

1. possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level subjects at credit level in relevant subjects in not more than two (2) sittings in the subjects relevant to their proposed programme. English Language and Mathematics at credit level are compulsory for all candidates.
2. Minimum of Third Class or Pass Division or HND certificate from a recognized institution, and
3. Completion or exemption from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme

The Programme, Degree and HND conversion byy FUOYE serves to facilitate converstion from HND to University Degree Certification, assist Graduates with Third Class or pass the quaity of their Degree and enable those who sek postgraduate options booast their career progression or change.

The Programme will last Six semesters of three academic sessions for the Faculties of Agriculture and Engineering and Four (4) semesters of two (2) academic sessions for the Faculties of Management Sciences, Science and Social Sciences.  Lecture will host mostly on Weekend (Saturdays and Sundays).

How to Apply

1. Visit https://ddtsms.fuoye.edu.ng
2. Check Available Programmes and your Eligibility
3. Click on pay for application
4. Fill the required fields
5. Click on the submit button
6. Confirm the content of the screen and click on Detail confirmed button
7. Confirm the content of the next screen by clicking on Yes
8. Click on the Complete/re-validate payment (NGN15,000.00) button accordingly

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS-

1. After payment is successfully made, you will be returned to FUOYE site.
2. Click on the submit button and follow the instruction on the screen.
3. Set new password for yourself as an applicant
4. Login to the application form by entering your application form number and the newly set password.
5. The form is divided into eight sections or steps which are filled in sequence.
6. To move to the next step, click on the continue button. If it does not advance, it means something is not right. Note the corresponding message on the screen and take the required corrective action.
7. Ensure that all scanned uploaded documents and bold and legible.
8. Step eight is where you pre-view your application form.
9. To return to your form, click on return to form at ddtsms.fuoye.edu.ng
10. To submit your form, ensure that all 7 steps are free of omissions then, go to step 8 and follow the guide written in orange colour
