Amy Consulting – Our client, a Residential Facility Management Company, located in Victoria Island, Lagos, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

1. He / she would be responsible for managing all their accounting processes.
2. Preparation of weekly and monthly report of Purchases and Sales and Expenses.
3. Validate the source documents and payment vouchers before posting into the accounting software.
4. Post customers’ payments into the Accounting Software.
5. Prepare tax and other returns due to other regulatory agencies and ensure that these returns are remitted within the specified timeframe.
6. Perform monthly bank reconciliation and maintain cash books.
7. Carry out detailed reconciliation of customers’ ledger account and receivable follow up.
8. Perfect knowledge of Tally accounting software.
9. Ensure accurate Fixed Asset Management records.
10. Assist with the preparation of financial reports (Income statement, Cash flow and Statement of Financial Position) on a monthly basis within agreed timelines.

Key Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or any numerate course.
2. Must be an experienced Chartered Accountant
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
4. Exceptional diligence, accuracy, and precision.
5. Good people skills with a high degree of ethical standards and integrity.
6. Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
