The National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Facility Engineers, Engr Oladipupo Isiaka Mabogaje has recently been conferred with the prestigious fellowship of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers, NIMechE.
Mabogaje an Assistant Director at the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN is a certified Procurement Officer from Bureau of Public Procurement is a Fellow of Nigerian Society of Engineers.
A native of Ogun State from Ijebu Ode, Local Government, Mabogaje who is currently undergoing him PhD in Business Administration at Nasarawa State University, Keffi holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical engineering from University of Ibadan. He also holds Masters in Industrial and Production Engineering from the same University. He is a holder of Masters in Business Administration at Nasarawa State University Keffi, and Advanced Management. Certificate in industrial Safety, Planning & Control from Federal College of Education (Technical) Akoka, Lagos, 2005
A passionate processional who is dedicated toward giving his best at all time, he has served the nation through various national committees.
He served the country at national level as a member of Concrete Specifications, Applications and Cement Standards – the Cement Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, Member of Validation of National Occupational Standard (Level 1,2 & 3) for welding between 19th and 21st February 2021.
He is a Committee member in the implementation of COREN Outcome Based Education (OBE) Process in Accreditation of Engineering Programmes in Nigeria Universities.
Mabogaje is also a member of the committee of COREN to review Public Procurement Act, 2007 (Amendment) Bill, as well as on the team at the 2023 for Public hearing, dated 30th May, 2023 at National Assembly; Member of Special Committee on Internal Generation of Revenue for COREN due to discontinuation of Funding of Professional Bodies & Councils from 2024 Budget in line with the decisions of the Presidential Committee on Salaries (PCS).
Within the NSE, Mabogaje has served in various capacities in the Committee of Engineering Profession, NSE National and NSE Branches.
H e is the Immediate past chairman of NSE Maitama Branch Chairman (Sept 2020-Sept 2022) and National Chairman of Nigerian Institution of Facilities Engineering & Management (a Division of NSE – Dec 2021- Date), Bureau of Public Procurement as an Observer for years and Mandatory Continuous Professional Development Workshop as a Facilitator for the past 12 yrs for the Great Society.
Engr. O. I. Mabogaje has undergone much training (over 45 Courses across engineering & administrative skills) across engineering field and Management capacities Development.
He is happily married to Mrs. Gift Chinyere Mabogaje (Nee Uche) and blessed with Children.
