ENGR. DR. MOJIRADE MONSURAT OLORUNTOBA FNSE, FNSChE, MAPWEN  works at Prototype Engineering Development Institute (PEDI), Km 4, Old Ife Road, P. M. B. 5025, Ilesa, Osun State

Engr. Dr. (Mrs.) OLORUNTOBA Mojirade Monsurat was born in Ikeja, Lagos State some decades ago. She had her primary and secondary education in Lagos State before proceeding to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Chemical Engineering. She was posted to Cross River State for her one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) scheme. She had a stint in lecturing before proceeding to the University of Lagos where she bagged a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Chemical Engineering in 2004. She later bagged a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree, also in Chemical Engineering from the same University of Lagos in 2020.

She currently works as a Research and Development Officer at Prototype Engineering Development Institute (PEDI), Ilesa, one of the institutes of National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI). Amongst her duties is to plan, organize and supervise activities relating to engineering research projects.

As for her participation in professional activities, she is currently an Elected Member of the Executive Committee of The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE); a Past Chairman, NSE Ilesa Branch and the Pioneer Chairman, The Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN), Ilesa Chapter. Worthy of note is the instrumental role she played in the formation of the APWEN Chapter in 2012. The young Chapter during her tenure as the Chairman hosted a successful APWEN National Conference/AGM tagged “Virtue 2014”.

CAREER
 Mojirade is currently a Chief Research and Development Officer at PEDI, Ilesa, one of the institutes under NASENI.
 She has held other positions of responsibilities satisfactorily and with commendations.
