Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk warns him against cage fight with Mark Zuckerberg, asks him to use words only, writes, Ankita Chakravarti: .

No fists, only words: Elon Musk’s mother Maye Musk has some advice for him ahead of his cage fight with Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg.

In yet another casual tweet, Musk said that he is ready to settle his beef with Zuckerberg inside a ring. Musk, very confidently, pointed out that he is ready for a cage match if Zuckerberg agrees.

Notably, Zuckerberg recently won the Jiu Jitsu championship, so Musk should be aware of what he is signing for. And we are not only ones to fear for Musk’s life, even his mother has a suggestion for him. Maye Musk has asked him to use words only.

“No joking,” Maye Musk wrote on Twitter. “Fight with words only. In armchairs. 4 feet apart. The funniest person wins.”Maye Musk shared this statement as a direct reply to her son’s post, wherein the billionaire suggested a face-off between himself and Zuckerberg within the confines of the “Vegas Octagon,” also referred to as the UFC Apex arena in Las Vegas.

Musk’s idea to get into a cage fight with Mark started with a banter on Twitter. The lighthearted exchange between Musk and Zuckerberg originated when Elon responded to the announcement of Meta’s plans to launch a Twitter competitor called Threads. Earlier reports had surfaced suggesting that Meta was preparing to introduce Threads as a direct challenge to Twitter. It was further revealed that during an internal meeting where a preview of the upcoming app was presented, a high-ranking Meta executive mentioned that they had received feedback from creators and public figures expressing their interest in a platform that is well-managed, trustworthy, and reliable for content distribution.

In response to the news about Threads, Musk (known for his less-than-amicable attitude towards competitors in the past) took to Twitter and expressed, “I can imagine Earth eagerly submitting to Zuck’s dominion with no alternative options. At least it promises to be ‘sane.’ I was momentarily concerned there.

Responding to Musk’s playful challenge for a “cage match” on Twitter, Mark Zuckerberg took to his Instagram story and asked Musk to share his location.

Zuckerberg wrote, “Send me your location,” accompanied by a screenshot of Musk’s tweet.

Interestingly, Musk had not seen Zuckerberg’s Instagram story, so when a Twitter user shared it on the platform, Musk expressed that if it was true, he would be up for it.

In another tweet, Musk mentioned the Vegas Octagon, a renowned venue for UFC fights, as he responded to Zuckerberg’s request for his location.

Moreover, Musk humorously mentioned a move he calls “The Walrus” on Twitter, where he playfully stated, “I have this fantastic move called ‘The Walrus,’ where I simply lie on top of my opponent and do nothing.”
