There is an opening for a smart individual with an engineering background to serve as a Technical Planning Lead in an Oil & Gas service company focused on exploration and production support activities as well as operations and maintenance services for cranes and other heavy, mechanical equipment.
Requirements for consideration:
An engineering degree from an accredited university
Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
Minimum of 5 – 7 years of relevant experience
BOSIET certification would be a plus
Experience and / or ability to go offshore, as needed, would be a plus
Experience with cranes and other heavy, mechanical equipment, would be a plus
Experience with MS Project or Primavera would be a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Demonstration of ability to work independently
Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and hardworking Core Responsibilities include:
Start-to-finish leadership of all technical operations including planning and execution.
Liaising with clients, OEMs, contractors, and vendors on technical matters
Management of field engineers
Maintenance of schedule for field work and field engineers
Oversight of PPE, tools, equipment and consumables procurement and inventory control
Development and Maintenance of relevant technical documents
Participation in Projects and Bid submissions as needed
Preferences: resident on the Island (Ikoyi, VI, Lekki, Ajah, Sangotedo and environs) or ready to relocate.
Hours: 9am – 6pm on weekdays
