The National President of all engineering students in Nigeria, Chukwudubem Anointing Chukwudi, commends the efforts of some mechanical engineering students of the prestigious University of Jos (UNIJOS) who manufactured a state of the art sports car called “Aspirer-Espoir” as a partial fulfilment for the award of B.Eng Degree (project).
These brilliant Students include Morgan Dan Mangai (Team Leader), Kyonev Austine Aondongu, Jamo Jeremiah James, Allison Wisdom Ikenna, Duru Cynthia Chinonso, Johnson Nimzing Paul and Oke Olaosebikan Blessing, they distinguished themselves in their various area of specialisation to give us the sports car which can compete favourably with other sports car around the world.
The mastery exhibited by these students in the manufacturing of this car points to the fact that the future of the Nigerian Engineering is bright, colourful and promising.
We call and appeal to the government to empower our schools and give the young engineering graduates the needed support. If our students are empowered to produce sports cars of this kind in an advanced way and exported to other countries, our GDP will increase geometrically and it will also contribute positively to our foreign reserve.
Engineering Students in Nigeria are on the right direction, our best is yet to come.
