Apapa Engineers set to hold 2nd Edition of Annual Akintunde Zedomi Distinguished lecture

The Apapa Branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers under the leadership of Engr Christian Ufot is all set for the second edition of the Annual Akintunde Zedomi Distinguished Lecture. The Lecture which is being organised in honour of its first Chairman Engr Akintunde Zedomi will hold on March 20 2021 at National Engineering Centre, 1  Engineering Close, Off Idowu Taylor Street, Victoria Island Lagos and will start at 12 noon. 

Engr Anthony Adegboyega Adegbola, Chief Information Officer of NTEL will address the theme of the second edition, which is Building Indigenous Capacity for National Development. 

The President of Nigerian Society of Engineers,  Engr Babagana Mohammed is teh chairman of the occasion while Engr Abiola Koseigbe, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Public Service is Special Guest of Honour. 

Engr. Chief Zedomi is an Engineer of repute an Inaugural Chairman, NSE Apapa Branch. He is a former Chairman, Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) & its Council member for many years. A past Chairman of the Mechanical Division of Engineers and the only President of NIMechE and pioneer National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE) who also served meritoriously.

He also served the Nigerian Society of Engineers in many capacities and as a Vice President, Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) & its Council Member for many years.

Four Chief as he is fondly called is the Chief Bobajaye of Idimuland in Lagos State and also the High Chief Saloro of Omuo-Ekiti Kingdom In Ekiti State. He is currently a Governing Council member of Leads City University, Ibadan. He is the M.D./C.E.O of Daid Engineering Ltd Isolo, Lagos.
