The Ilorin branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers elected Engr. Moshood Abdulkadir Akanbi as the 20th Chairman of the Branch during the 2018 Annual General Meeting at the Branch’s secretariat today.
Engr. Akanbi is a Civil Engineer and works with Kwara State Ministry of Works, Ilorin, from where he was seconded to Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB).
Engr Akanbi is very active member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (NICE). He is a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
Prior to being elected Chairman, he has served as the Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Financial Secretary of the Branch, as well as in National and Branch Committees over the years.
