The inauguration of the NSE Houston Branch was held on May 03, 2018 at the Texas Southern University, Houston Texas. The current official email is  info.nsehoustonbranch@yahoo.com for all general inquiries. The branch has quarterly general meetings with all the members and monthly executive committee meetings.

Meet the Executive Committee Members

Chairman – Engr. Fisoye Delano

Engr. Delano is currently the President and Chief Executive officer of Delphi Ventura Group, LLC,  a Houston-based firm of petroleum and energy consultants, as well as an Adjunct Professor at the Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law (CPEEL), University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He has developed a specialization in Natural Gas Economics through over 40 years engagement with the oil industry, including such jobs as Wellsite Petroleum Engineer for Shell Petroleum Development Company (1979-81); Manager, Budget and Planning Texaco (Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago, USA, 1981-2001); Senior Researcher at the Institute for Energy. Law, and Enterprise at the University of Houston TX (2001-2005); Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC, 2006-2008), Natural Gas and LNG Consultant at Poten& Partners in New York.  Engr. Delano earned his BSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ibadan, MBA from University of Lagos and MSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston.

Engr. Delano  has authored and co-authored numerous technical publications,  including most recently a Natural Gas and LNG Handbook entitled Understanding Natural Gas and LNG Options (sponsored by the US Department of Energy, February 2017). He has also hosted webinars on topics such as  Gas to Power: Natural Gas and LNG Alternatives  for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Foundation (2017).

Engr. Delano is frequently invited to make presentations at industry conferences and workshops around the glob; most recently for the US Department of Energy regarding “Local Gas Market Development” at the Workshop on Sharing Natural Gas Development Experiences in Africa organized by USDOE USEA, Power Africa & Instituto Nacional de Petroleo (INP) in Maputo, Mozambique (April 2017), and on Natural Gas and LNG in Sub-Saharan Africa Energy Market at the 11th Annual Sub-Saharan Africa Oil/Gas Conference in Houston (April 2018).

Vice Chairman/Technical Secretary – Engr. Clement Oke

Engr. Clement Adeyinka Oke is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and obtained a Master’s degree in Gas Engineering and Management from the College of Petroleum Studies Oxford / University of Salford, UK. He is COREN registered and a Chartered Engineer in the UK. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering, The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK) and the Nigerian Society of Engineers. Additionally, he is a Corporate Member of The Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers and The Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers (UK).

General Secretary –  Engr. Olu Marinho

Engr. Olu Marinho is a project management professional with over 25 years of oil & gas field development experience.  Over the course of his career, he has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead high value, technically complex capital projects at top tier oil companies. Mr. Marinho is a registered engineer and a certified project management professional. He is presently a consultant providing expert level project management and engineering support for projects in the energy sector.

Financial Secretary/Treasurer – Engr. Ayodele Koyejo

Engr. Koyejo was the first Director of Information Technology for Central Bank of Nigeria.

Demonstrated business expertise in identifying, creating, and delivering innovative cyber risk management service strategies, solutions and tools; including keeping the enterprise safe from cyber threats by maintaining robust cybersecurity measures for the network, individual workstations and endpoints. I also led, coached and grew several teams of skilled IT and cybersecurity staff.

Asst. General Secretary – Engr. Mrs. Ngowari Diminas

Engr. Ngowari is a Project Engineer for an Energy Infrastructure Company in Texas. She has a Masters’ degree in Oil & Gas Engineering and Bachelors’ degree in Chemical Engineering. She is a certified Project Management Professional and the founder of Connecting All Female Engineers Worldwide (CAFEW) group. She is married and has children.

Publicity Secretary – Engr. Segun Jebutu

Engr Segun Jebutu is the Integrated Formation Evaluation manager GOM, Baker Hughes, a GE company, with over 30 years’ experience in the Oil and gas industry.

Engr. Simon has a Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering, Postgraduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering. Thirty-five years in the Oil & Gas industry, retiring in 2012 as Managing Director of Warri Refining & Petrochemical Company. Fellow of NSE, NIMechE, NSChE and member of ASME. Currently employed in Houston, Texas as a Cisco-certified network engineer.
