Engr. Otis Oliver Tabugbo Anyaeji Delivers Valedictory Speech at Council Meeting

The 30th President of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr. Otis Anyaeji, FNSE, FAEng, on Thursday, November 9, 2017, delivered his valedictory speech at the end of the meeting of the Society’s highest organ, the NSE Council.

Engr. Otis disclosed that the valedictory speech was predicated on the fact that the Council meeting was the last he would chair, then the life of his administration would terminate on December 31, 2017.

The President thanked the entire membership for the confidence reposed in him by voting him into office to serve in the capacity. He particularly thanked the numerous members that continually made inputs for the sustenance of the Societys advocacy during his tenure.
He pledged to continually support the activities of the Society and the profession at all times.

Speaking on behalf of the Past Presidents and the Council, Engr. I.K. Inuwa, FNSE, FNIM, OFR thanked Otis Anyaeji for availing himself for service to Nigerian Engineers. He reminisced his resilience and contributions to the growth of the Society and the profession for many years before becoming President even.

He therefore wished him well and requested him to extend the gratitude of the members to his family for their sacrifice by bearing with him while he was away from home on the Society’s assignment.

There was a presentation of gift by the Kano Branch to the President.
