NIMechE Abuja chapter constitutes standing committees, launched Stickers

The Executive Committee members of NIMechE Abuja chapter had unveiled its first edition of the Chapter’s sticker “Proudly Mechanical ENgineers” in their last General meeting and technical session in Abuja. This was disclosed by the chapter Chairman, Engr Francis Azuka.

 
Also, at the event in Abuja, the Chapter Chairman Engr. F. I. Azuka, MNSE, NIMEchE ,inaugurates Seven Standing Committees and presented TOR to committee Chairmen.
 
IMG 20170302 WA0010NSE Vice President, Engr. Joseph Akinteye, who was at the event presented Certificate to Tecnical Paper Presenter,Engr. Emmanuel John, Director,  Administration and Strategy Transportation Initiative after the impressive presentation titled: “Urban Mobility Challenge: An Engineering Perspective To Non-Motorized Transportation In Abuja.”
 
As with the tradition, new members were ushered into the chapter by the The Vice Chairman, Engr.Peter Igbiankobo Ityavger. New members were encouraged to take advantage of the opportunities offered by professional associations to develop their professional aspirations.

6.Welfare Committee-Engr Ekpedeme Expo,MNSE-Chairman
7.Group Dynamics Committee-Engr. Bala Ebi,MNSE,MNIMechE-Chairman
 
The chairman thanked members for their dedication as he encouraged more mechanical engineers to find time in their busy schedule to grace the monthly event.
 
IMG 20170302 WA0002It will be instructive to note that Chapters are the vessels through which the national secretariat convey  it’s messages and programmes to the members who are spread across the country. The chapters in each state are mandated to conduct innovative and professionally engaging programmes that enhance the career aspirations  of members, both young and old. It also serve as the melting point of professional networking  for members and avenue to follow latest development in the industry.

Abuja Chapter meets every month at NSE Abuja Office, by Dantata and Sawoe, old CBN Junction, GArki, Abuja.

 
Also the Chapter planned Training Workshop Programme for engineers as a part of assisting in professional Development of members and engineering in general.
